ABOUT A&G RESIDENTIAL

A&G Residential are residential home builders in Fayetteville, North Carolina who build homes that serve our buyers’ needs and lifestyle. After working closely together for over a decade at one of the region’s largest builders, Wells Alderman and Jamie Godwin ventured out to begin their dream. 

With close to 30 years of combined industry experience we are dedicated to providing the attention to detail with every house we build.

After working closely together for over a decade at one of the region’s largest builders, Wells Alderman and Jamie Godwin ventured out to begin their dream. 

With close to 30 years of combined industry experience A&G Residential is dedicated in providing the attention to detail with EVERY house they build.  

Wells Alderman​

After graduating from Clemson University in 2004 with a BS in Marketing, Wells Alderman started working as loan officer in Charleston, SC. There he met his wife Molly and together they moved to her hometown of Fayetteville, NC in 2005.

Alderman then started his Real Estate and Home Building career with H&H Homes where he served as Sales Manager for the Fayetteville Market for nearly a decade. During his time at H&H, Alderman was responsible for overseeing the sale of over 2000 homes. He credits his time at H&H with helping him grow as a manager and leader in the community Molly and him call home.

He has been honored by the Fayetteville Observer with the 2014 “40 under 40” class, President of the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville, current board member of the Fayetteville Police Foundation, and Deacon at his church First Presbyterian of Fayetteville.

Molly and Wells have 2 sons (Wells and Baker) and a daughter Sally. One of Alderman’s proudest accomplishments was becoming an Eagle Scout at the age of 14.​

Wells Alderman​

After graduating from Clemson University in 2004 with a BS in Marketing, Wells Alderman started working as loan officer in Charleston, SC. There he met his wife Molly and together they moved to her hometown of Fayetteville, NC in 2005.

Alderman then started his Real Estate and Home Building career with H&H Homes where he served as Sales Manager for the Fayetteville Market for nearly a decade. During his time at H&H, Alderman was responsible for overseeing the sale of over 2000 homes. Jamie Godwin

After graduating from North Carolina State University in 2001 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Jamie Godwin started working as a Project Engineer. For 5 years Jamie was involved in large Civil and Environmental Projects ranging from 100k to over 40 million dollars.

Jamie obtained his General Contractor’s License in 2002. As his passion grew for homebuilding, he left his Project Engineer position to pursue his homebuilding career.

Over the next 13 years he grew his construction experience while working for large regional builders in positions from Project Manager to Senior Vice President of Operations. During this time, he oversaw the construction of over 4,000 homes throughout North and South Carolina. Jamie was selected Nationally by Professional Builder Magazine as one of the top 40 under 40 “Home Building’s Young Leaders” in 2014.

Jamie and his wife Suzanne have one son Jaxson and they reside in Four Oaks, North Carolina.

One of the Jamie’s proudest accomplishments is his military career and the lessons he has learned from it. Jamie enlisted in the North Carolina Army National Guard in 1995 and after 23 years he is still serving at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has served on two deployments for Operation Iraqi Freedom (2004 and 2009) and recently completed Battalion Command for 1-120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team in March of 2018.​

Jamie Godwin
